Due to the Covid 19 Crisis, hospitals are overwhelmed and short on medical supplies and even food.
Marginalized communities are facing income setbacks and Food & Beverage Businesses have been hurt the must during this economic downturn and lockdowns.
The #eat2donate scheme is where partners offer 1 free Khmer meal of rice, meat and veggies to be sent to hospitals in Phnom Penh for every $5 meal purchase organized by Slaprea.
How does this work?
A special #eat2donate menu is submitted by the participating business of up to 5 set meals or food/beverage products
A customer purchases the set menu and can choose to share their profiles for a ‘Thank You’ from Slaprea and the participating business.
Delivery is sent as per the participating business’ usual operations
Daily tallies are submitted and meals are picked up by the Slaprea logistics team from participating businesses for delivery to corresponding clinics and hospitals.
The Slaprea logistics team will take photos of each delivery to send back to participating businesses and customers to show that the food has arrived!
Slaprea is powered by The Idea Consultancy, and is not taking profits nor commissions on any sales. Donations for transport costs of the Slaprea logistics team will be greatly appreciated.
